You can’t judge a cube by it’s cover
200 x 200 x 200 mm
You can’t judge a cube by its cover.

A small black cube, with a leather grip at one corner, indicating more. Gently pull the lever and the cube unfolds. It contains a drawer and two trays in different levels. I got the idea from a chocolate box, in folded cardboard, could the idea be transferred to a piece of furniture?
I found four tablelegs of palisander on the sidewalk. The palisander veneer is collected from the container at the recycling center, the rest is cut off from various student projects. It was not a dogma from the beginning, but during the process it became a sport to create something delicious from others' waste. I have used leather with canvas at the back for hinges. The handle is leather folded and glued around a small silver rod.
